Vinay K. Satwah, DO, RPVI, FACOI, “A Comprehensive Approach to the Management of Patients with Chronic Venous Insufficiency,” is medical director, interventional cardiologist and partner at the Center for Vascular Medicine in Greenbelt, Maryland. A graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and a 2003 graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Union Hospital of St. Barnabas Healthcare System in Livingston, New Jersey, and cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology and peripheral/endovascular fellowships at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and interventional cardiology, Dr. Satwah is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation. A fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, he is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Phlebology, the American Heart Association, the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society, the Society of Coronary Angiographers and Interventionalists, the American Venous Forum and Horizons International Peripheral group.
