Of course you do, every guy does. Any guy who says differently is a liar. Money makes the world go round. Without money you’ll never have peace of mind, be financially free or live the lifestyle you want. To get rich, you need to know how to sell. If you can’t sell you can’t make real money, no if’s ands or maybes.
As an employee, there is no more lucrative field then sales. Where else can a 27 year old dropout can make more than a doctor? And more importantly, learning how to sell means you can take those skills and get rich with your own business. The truth is, every succesful man on this planet is an excellent salesman, no exceptions.
Unfortunately they don’t teach you this stuff in school, they teach you useless sh*t like calculus and venn diagrams. And most sales books aren’t much better, they teach you phony baloney, feel good bullsh*t that doesn’t work in the world.

In fact I was probably worse, in high school I used to get anxiety from having to call the pizza man. I was raised to be very polite and not pushy. And to top it off, I’m from Canada, a country that is professionally polite.
Calling up strangers and asking them for money was not my first career choice, in fact it was my last career choice. My dream was to be a prop equities trader. I had some brief success in that field but it didn’t last long and eventually I found myself without any income, transferable skills or even a college degree.
Not making good money was not an option for me so I knew what I had to do. I had to move into the only industry where a guy like me could do six figures: sales. So I sucked it up, put together a terrible resume and somehow talked my way into a sales job. And I won’t lie to you, I was scared.
My first day on the floor I was so scared of making my first cold call that I could barely hold the phone.
Now I can bang out 100 cold calls before noon without flinching.
Now I’m mentally tough as nails.
Now I can close the CEO of a billion dollar company on his way to the bathroom at a conference.
Not only that, but the confidence I learned in sales put my social skills on steroids. Compared to cutthroat corporate sales, picking up girls on the street and dominating social situations is a f*cking breeze.

It’s just a matter of knowing what do and having the mental toughness to do it day in and day out.
