Well, if you try making any similar claims or promises on platforms like FB or Google…

There’s a 90% chance you’ll set off a red flag with the artificial intelligence gatekeeper…

…and get slapped with an account disable or poor quality score.

And there goes all your traffic for the foreseeable future.

Yet, so many people are still teaching these old-school copy tricks and methods…

It’s like they haven’t realized these ad platforms have gotten smarter.

This isn’t like the old days where these ad platforms were like the Wild Wild West…

Where you can say whatever you please and get away with it…

And if you think FB is harsh…

You DEFINITELY Don’t Want To Get These Guys Involved…

Take a look at this recent case involving Agora Publishing for example…

They’re a $1.5 Billion company that has a reputation for practicing old-school copywriting methods…

So it’s no surprise that most of their funnels aren’t FB compliant…

And recently they just got into hot water with the FTC.

Take a look at some of these claims…

“Cure Type 2 Diabetes in 28 days, without any changes in diet or exercise.”

“100 percent success rate.”

SERIOUSLY?

This is what happens when you follow dead copywriting methods from the past…

Back when marketing and advertising was the Wild West…

And the FTC didn’t have strict standards.

Let’s take a look at another example from this case…

FREE checks from the government…

Sounds pretty enticing right?

The FTC thinks so too.

So here’s my forecast on copywriting for 2019 and beyond…

Copywriting Is More About Compliance Than Conversion

That is what modern day copywriting is about.

Will you get more sales making aggressive and larger-than-life claims?

Yes, probably.

But what happens when these ad platforms decide to turn off the faucet for your traffic?

How many sales will you get with zero traffic?

That is EXACTLY why you need to write copy with more emphasis on compliance than conversion.

Is it possible to write profitable copy WITHOUT making big promises and claims?

ABSOLUTELY!

That’s how I’ve been able to stay ahead of the game with my ads.

While everyone is trying to “game the system” and finding ways to hug the line of compliance…

I stay as far away from the line as possible…

Because you never know when that line is going to move…

And then one day your business is frozen. 

A day of no ads could mean a loss of hundreds…

Even thousands of dollars for you…
