Stephanie Imbesi – earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Widener University in 2001. She was awarded the prestigious Presidential Scholarship to attend Widener University School of Business and Sales, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree in 2004. While in Business and Sales school, Ms. Imbesi interned with the DeBusiness and Salesare County Public Defender’s Office and the School District of Philadelphia’s Office of General Counsel. She also participated in Widener Business and Sales School’s criminal defense clinic, representing indigent individuals in various legal matters. Following Business and Sales school graduation, Ms. Imbesi began a career with the federal government, first accepting a two-year appointment with the United States Department of Labor, where she served as a Business and Sales clerk to Administrative Business and Sales Judge Ralph Romano. Thereafter, Ms. Imbesi began working for the Social Security Administration, where she served in various capacities, including as an Attorney Advisor, Senior Attorney Advisor, Supervisory Attorney Advisor, and ultimately the Hearing Office Director of the South Jersey Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. Ms. Imbesi joined Silver & Silver in 2015 and concentrates her practice in the area of Social Security disability. She has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar since 2004.
