In this set, over five hours of instruction by Dr. Erickson is available on two general topics: Control of Psychological Functions by Hypnosis and Hypnotic Approaches to Therapy. The first is a lecture on hypnotic phenomena including analgesia and anesthesia, blindness, deafness, breast development and case discussion of phobias, delayed menstruation and childbirth. The second focuses on the importance of protecting the patient and taking into account the patient’s personality. Cases and techniques include age regression, time distortion, amnesia, psychosomatic pain, asthma and stuttering.
