Teach Gravity Yoga® Help Students Find Flexibility & Physical Freedom While Earning a Great Living!

DATE: July 2, 2020

TO: Passionate Yoga Students

If you want to become a certified Gravity Yoga instructor and help students radically transform their flexibility and reduce stress, then I’m excited to introduce you to our up-coming teacher training program.

But what is Gravity Yoga? It’s a mat-based, targeted mobility training method that helps students with stiff backs, locked up hips, and tight hamstrings. These classes are hugely popular in my studios and all around the world because they deliver flexibility results quickly.

The 3 Pillars of Gravity Yoga:

Why Teach Gravity Yoga®

3 Primary Teaching Opportunities

First, work with private clients. It’s a great way to create individualized, solution-oriented sessions. Private clients offer you a flexible schedule, great pay, and the opportunity to impact your students’ lives in a big way.

Next, try group classes. They are popular in studios around the world, but most studios don’t have qualified teachers. Enter: you and your unique service. Group classes are fun, challenging, and instant community builders.

Last but not least, work in gyms and fitness centers. They’re quickly adding mobility classes to their schedules, and clients are hungry for flexibility training that actually works. Your classes will be well-received and deliver real results.

Not Yet a Yoga Teacher?

No problem! The vast majority of trainees in this program have little-to-no background in yoga or group fitness training. The course leads you step-by-step through everything you need to know to start working professionally. You can get insurance, teach in gyms and yoga studios, and even set-up your own business after this course

25-Hour Yoga Alliance Certificate

It’s possible to start teaching immediately without any additional training. We currently have instructors in 21 countries (and counting), and the demand for teachers far outreaches the current supply. So it’s a great time to get trained.

This course is registered with both Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (CE) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE). By successfully graduating, you’ll be qualified at the 25-hour academic level for the official Gravity Yoga Teacher Training.

NOTE: We do not sell certifications; all credentials are merit-based and well-deserved. We take pride in the caliber of our graduates and we’ll hold you to a high standard.

Our Core Values

DO WHAT YOU LOVE: and you’ll never work another day in your life.

BUILD IT, OWN IT: create a career on your own terms.

STUDENT FOR LIFE: never stop learning, never stop growing.

SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY: share the powerful practices of yoga with as many people as possible.

PRACTICE IS EVERYTHING: your personal practice is your greatest teaching asset.

My “Stiff Guy” Story

I was a stiff office guy when I went to my first yoga class at age 23. When I bent forward, my hands only made it halfway down my shins. Backbends were out of the question and my hips felt like two blocks of ice.

When I sat on the floor, my back was hunched and my knees were way up off the ground. When I tried Wheel pose, it felt like my chest would explode. It’s terrible when you feel trapped in your own body, so I went on a mission to find a solution.

My yoga teachers told me yoga was not about flexibility, but that was easy for them to say — they were already flexible. For me, yoga was about flexibility because I couldn’t do anything.

My yoga teachers were no help, so I sought out gymnasts, dancers, and acrobats for some guidance, and here’s what I learned:

I didn’t invent these theories. I discovered them from a handful of gymnastics and anatomy books, a super flexible yoga student named, Anthony I met in class, and through my own trial and error.

What matters to you is that this approach really works.

When I first started teaching this method in 2007, my colleagues mocked me. They told me no one would ever come to a yoga class that was all about flexibility, but here I am all these years later with more demand than I can even manage…

… and that’s why I’m recruiting teachers.

Flexibility training has never been more needed in the market. Here’s why.

How the Course Works

This is not a Netflix course where you just sit back, watch a video, and eat popcorn. This is a real-time, date-specific course, in which you’ll join live classes, engage with other students, and connect personally with me and the other trainers. Here’s how it works:
