He has been studying Eastern philosophies and practices for over 25 years and integrating them into his clinical work. He served in the Marine Corps infantry in Vietnam and leads an international group working with the collective trauma of armed violence, genocide, and war and its impact of communities. He is the author of Qigong in Psychotherapy: You can Do So Much by Doing So Little and A Whole-Hearted Embrace: Finding Love at the Center of it all.
