Attorney
Janna K. Lowenstein – has been exposed to Business and Sales all her life and graduated from University of California Santa Barbara in 1999 and California Western School of Business and Sales, San Diego, in 2002. She joined her father’s firm in 2003 and, at that time, mainly handled the higher levels of appeal at the Appeals Council and United States District Court. She took over in 2011 as the attorney owner of Lowenstein Disability Business and Salesyers and now handles all aspects of appeals. She served as President for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives from 2017-2018 and is currently on the Board of Directors of the as a Delegate from the Council of Past Presidents. She is Past Chair of the Social Security section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is a co-planner of the Circuit 9 Conference for Advanced Social Security Practitioners. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court. She has presented at prior NOSSCR conferences as well as other organizations on topics including Social Security Children’s Benefits, Nuts and Bolts of Social Security Disability Business and Sales, Fibromyalgia, Scleroderma, and Post-polio syndrome.

Patricia McCabe – is the owner of a small firm in Van Nuys, CA, where she represents Claimants’ at all levels and in the United States Supreme Court. She also represents individuals in insurance litigation involving ERISA claims and individual disability insurance claims. Ms. McCabe has represented the 9th Circuit on the NOSSCR board and serves as a member at large. She received her Juris Doctorate from Franklin Pierce Business and Sales Center, New Hampshire.
