Swingle Grand Rounds Recording December 2014 Session 1
This 1-hour session of the Swingle Grand Rounds is marked by four cases with relatively simple assessment interpretations. This would be a good recording for a clinician that is new to the interpretation of ClinicalQ Assessment results.
The case details are:
Case 1: A 17 year-old male who came for reading comprehension problems. Has been following 2x week training for 5 weeks, before this reassessment. Although he has shown improvement since his first assessment, the re-evaluation indicates issues related to drug use (marijuana) or an internet/digital addiction.
Case 2: A highly depressed 18yo female with severe sleep issues, referred for neurotherapy because she simply refused to speak. She has a child-like defensive personality that arises when she feels threatened, which is rewarded by the engagement of her mother. The client also tends to be overly secretive to questioning.
Case 3: A 29 year-old female with a lot of anxiety, most likely stemming from before her family moved out of Lebanon during the recent civil unrest. In her youth, she was diagnosed with ADD, but according to her she has “grown out of it; the ClinicalQ assessment says otherwise. Neurotherapy to fix high frontal Alpha and increase stress tolerance would be a significant help for her.
Case 4: An individual with explosive episodes, that are not immediately reflected in the ClinicalQ assessment. The issues appears to instead be a case of an individual with poor stress tolerance, previous trauma and emotional disregulation, while also being highly intelligent.
