The Esalen 1972 Workshop manuscripts offers a variety of Awareness Through Movementlessons ranging from introductory lessons to standing on the head. Halfway through the workshop Moshe opened up the workshop for others to join, providing a unique opportunity to see how he integrated eight introductory lessons for those without prior experience into an ongoing group of students.
It represents Moshe’s first significant teaching visit to the U.S. The workshop participants included many of the leading people in the humanistic psychology movement. The Esalen workshop took place over a five-week period and included 43 outstanding classic Awareness Through Movement lessons, each highly structured and suited for a 45- to 60-minute class.
Workshop participant Judith Stransky developed this 326-page bound manuscript from notes and tapes. This is one of our most popular items and is a goldmine for every Feldenkrais teacher, especially teaching ATM classes or workshops.
