Want your journals and books to lay flatter for easier writing? For any type of book cover, but my favorite for curved spines, this Hollow Back Binding© tutorial is perfect for filling handmade book covers or even old covers from gutted books. Great for flat spines, too!

This tutorial teaches how to sew your signatures into a hidden stitch binding assembly and how to attach that binding to a book cover. It does not teach how to make a book cover or gut an old book.

So grab a book cover of your choice and a cuppa and join me in filling my already-made book cover with pages!
