The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. Dr. Schwarz is at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where he is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Director of the Medical Toxicology Fellowship, Section Chief in Medical Toxicology and Advisory Dean in the Office of Student Affairs. He serves on several committees at Wash U and at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in Emergency Medicine and in Medical Toxicology. Dr. Schwarz also serves his profession as a committee member on multiple committees for the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American College of Medical Toxicology, the Missouri College of Emergency Physicians and the Midwest Chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
